Things to know
- Runs off a single USB cable for both data and power — no HDMI output or separate power supply required, unlike the larger Porsche GT3 Cup DDU.
- The screen stays blank until the display driver and dash software are set up; SimHub users enable it under the VOCORE screen section, while RaceDirector handles driver and firmware updates automatically.
- In the box: the DDU5, USB cable, mounting hardware, and two carbon-fiber brackets for OSW and Fanatec wheelbases — software is downloaded rather than supplied on media.
- GRID publishes default LED profiles that pre-configure the top row as shift lights and the side LEDs as left/right proximity spotters, so most buyers never have to build a profile from scratch.
- Two revisions of this dash exist; the V2 uses USB-C and runs at up to 60 FPS, so confirm which revision is in stock if refresh rate or cable type matters to the customer.
