The Conspit Ares 12 is a professional-grade direct drive wheelbase developed alongside pro drivers and motorsport engineers. Its industry-customized skew-pole direct-drive motor delivers 12Nm of constant torque with minimal cogging and ripple, while a 23-bit high-precision optical encoder (angular resolution under 0.01°) tracks every micro-correction. A torque slew rate up to 9.5Nm/ms means force feedback transitions arrive instantly, and a military-grade slip ring keeps signal transmission stable with zero wireless interference. Housed in an aerospace-grade CNC aluminum chassis with real-time thermal monitoring and POGO magnetic expansion ports. Available in the standard CDP quick release version or the CDR quick release version. Configurable via Conspit Link 2.0 with official pro driver presets. PC only.

Things to know
- The two versions are mechanically identical apart from the quick release: the Ares 12 ships with Conspit's Formula-style CDP hub (7075 aluminum clasp with ball-locking), while the Ares 12 CDR ships with the CDR hub built to the 50 mm bolt pattern most of the industry uses.
- Third-party wheels with a 70 mm bolt pattern mount to the CDR hub using Conspit's 50–70 mm spacer adapter, sold separately.
- A 2025 Conspit Link firmware update raised the Ares from its original 10 Nm rating to the current 12 Nm — units from early stock need the update applied to reach the rated torque.
- PC only; there is no console mode on either version.
- The bottom M6 and side M8 patterns cover most rigs, but Conspit's angled wheelbase bracket and front-mount bracket for 8020-style profile rigs are separate accessories.
