Things to know
- In the box: the wheel, the VPG coiled USB cable, and 64 epoxy dome stickers for relabelling the button caps — including a spare set of the factory layout if you want to revert. No quick release or hub is included.
- The wheel takes power and data over its own USB cable rather than through the quick release, so plug the coiled cable into a powered USB 2.0 hub near the base and avoid passive extensions longer than 2 m.
- It bolts straight to a 50.8 mm PCD quick release; 70 mm PCD QRs require the aluminium VPG wheel extension offered as a roughly £50 checkout option, or VPG's hub and adaptor bought separately.
- Fanatec direct drive bases need the Fanatec Podium Hub to mount it; Asetek, Moza, Simucube and Simagic quick releases fit without extra hardware.
- There is no dedicated rev LED strip — shift lights have to be built out of the button and rotary LEDs in SimHub, so most owners pair this wheel with a separate dash or DDU.
